During one of their sessions, Peter tells Watts about Osborn's intimidation and threats and reveals that he has decided to do something about it. In retaliation for putting Fisk on the stand, Karen is killed by one of the Kingpin's goons who then takes the blind Matt Murdock out into the countryside to die.
