Young Gato and the boys are away from Palomar, playing in a lightning drenched plain separated from the mainland by a large crevice. With their whereabouts unknown to everyone, can Chelo find where they are? And who are the mysterious Caucasian scientists who have taken the boys in after gassing them with a pacifying gas? A story taking place before the earliest issues of Love and Rockets.
