Emilio's sculptures don't sell. Frustrated, he calls to Satan for help and his next sculpture, a demon, comes to life. The demon compels Emilio to kill Maria. Emilio wanders the Earth in torment until he finds a slab of perfect white marble. He carves a new sculpture of the demon and tricks the demon into inhabiting it. Emilio shatters the stature, destroying the demon's presence on Earth. Emilio dies, his work complete.
